OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 gets Android Q Developer Preview 4!
This build of Android Q (Developer Preview 4) is best suited for developers and early adopters. As it is still in an early stage of development, OnePluse doesn’t recommend flashing this ROM if you have little or no experience in software development or flashing custom ROMs.
Proceed at your own risk!
Caution: You should understand the risk of BRICKING your phone, read the instructions carefully and be 100% sure of what you are doing, and please always backup your important data before flashing.
IMPORTANT: Please backup your data before upgrade!!!
New Changes:
• System functions improvement
• System stability improvement
• For DP3 users, you can upgrade via online OTA
• From DP4, you can upgrade system via OTA to Open Beta
Known Issues
- Application compatibility problems
- Low probability of system lag and stability issues
- Google pay not working
- The stored fingerprint will be reset, need to set it up again
- DP1/DP2 users must wipe data before upgrade
- Random artifacts on corners of the display at times
- Crackling of audio at maximum volume on Oneplus 7
Please note: This instruction is only for OnePlus 7/7 Pro, and please make sure the battery level is above 30% and a minimum of 3GB of available storage space.

MP to DP upgrade guide—via Local OTA Update
Note: This upgrade method will erase all the contents of the phone, please be sure to backup first.
1. Download the latest ROM upgrade zip package from the specified server.
2. Copy the ROM upgrade package to the phone storage.
3. Go to Settings -> System -> System Updates -> Click top-right icon -> Local upgrade -> Click on the corresponding installation package -> upgrade -> System upgrade completed to 100%.
4. After the upgrade is complete, click Restart.
5. The phone will boot into recovery mode to format user data, it will reboot again after formatting.
6. Update successful.
DP to MP rollback guide – via Local OTA update
Note: This upgrade method will erase all the contents of the phone, please be sure to backup first.

2. Copy the Rollback package to the phone storage.
3. Go to Settings -> System -> System Updates -> Click top-right icon -> Local upgrade -> Click on the corresponding installation package -> upgrade -> System upgrade completed to 100%.
4. After the upgrade is complete, click Restart.
5. The phone will boot into recovery mode to format user data, it will reboot again after formatting.
6. Update successful.
