Logitech release the brand new mouse G502 Hero in 2018. This is an updated version of Logitech’s most popular Mouse and one of my personal favorite gaming mice of all time. Logitech G502 hero isn’t going to look any different from the previous two mice that being the Logitech Proteus core and the Logitech Proteus Spectrum and that’s great and I feel personally the g502 has always been the most comfortable mouse. There are three differences in the Logitech G502 hero.
- First its brand new hero sensor in this mouse the new optical hero sensor goes from 10000 dpi all the way up to the 16,000 dpi mark.
- The second change is come along with the redesigned cable to prevent any sort of kinking in the cable.
- Third improvement that they just updated their logo.
Talking about the mouse itself it comes in 125 grams which is pretty light for a mouse but it can be adjustable with modular weights that you can put in the bottom in certain areas if you want a heavier Mouse on the bottom.
The design of this G502 kind of a more aggressive looking gamer mouse. On both sides of the mice there are rubber textures where your thumb and your fingers sit.
Logitech G502 Hero have 11 programmable buttons. The button where your thumbs sit is used to lower your dpi to the lowest setting that you set it at inside the software and I love this because no matter what game you’re playing if you are a sniper or you’re playing as a sniper just getting that really quick adjustment enhance my sniping skill. If you have already obtained a G502, this likely is not worth the upgrade. But on the other hand, the G502 is one of the best fps gaming mouse in the current market.
The previous versions if you were using on a white surface the mouse would not track at all but I noticed this optical mouse works pretty well on a white desk or a notebook. So if you’re someone who has a white mouse pad or you just have a white desktop with no mouse pad then this gaming mice work fine for you.
Things you will love in G502 Hero
- Comes with more high Dpi up to 16000
- Solid cable
- Customizable RGB Lightening
- Perfect for Snipers
- Adjustable weight
- 11 programmable buttons
Things you will not like in G502 Hero
- Not a wireless Mouse
- The mouse cannot be used if you are a left handed player
The Logitech G502 is an excellent gaming mouse using a great deal of helpful features and superb performance. The weights that are included are a wonderful touch that further enhance precision. The button where your thumbs sit is an extra edge for me but some people it awkward. However, I loved the characteristics.
