The three new gaming displays also feature ASUS FastIPS technology for a 1 ms response time, an astonishing 1000:1 contrast ratio, and ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) Sync that can be paired with NVIDIA® G-SYNC™ to effectively eliminate ghosting and tearing for sharp gaming visuals with high frame rates.

ASUS FastIPS technology for ultrafast 1 ms gray-to-gray response

All-new ASUS FastIPS technology employs high-speed liquid-crystal elements that switch up to 4X faster than conventional IPS panels. This enables VG279QM, VG259QM and XG279Q to deliver a true 1 ms gray-to-gray (GTG) response time, for sharper colors and clearer, smear-free gaming visuals.

Outstanding color and contrast with up to 95% DCI-P3 color gamut and 1000:1 contrast ratio

Both TUF Gaming VG279QM and VG259QM boast a color gamut that covers 99% of the sRGB color space for exceptional color accuracy and reproduction, while ROG Strix XG279Q offers a 95% DCI-P3 gamut. All three displays offer an astonishing 1000:1 contrast ratio, plus wide 178° viewing angles to ensure minimal distortion and color shift — even when viewing from extreme positions.

Ultrasmooth gaming visuals with ASUS ELMB Sync and G-SYNC Compatible certification

All three new gaming monitors feature ASUS ELMB Sync and an exclusive next-gen technology that enables the use of both motion-blur reduction and adaptive sync in tandem, ensuring a crisp picture and smooth, judder-free animation and movement.
For best results, an ELMB Sync display should be combined with a graphics card capable of pushing 85+ frames per second in favorite games.

DisplayHDR 400 certification for high-dynamic-range graphics and gaming

TUF Gaming VG279QM, TUF Gaming VG259QM all deliver a wider color range and higher contrast than traditional monitors, meaning the brightest whites and the darkest blacks bring out details like never before. The displays are also capable of 400 cd/m² brightness, meeting the stringent requirements for DisplayHDR™ 400 certifications.
Furthermore, ASUS Dynamic Shadow Boost technology automatically clarifies dark areas of the game world with optimizing other areas, improving overall viewing while also making it easier to spot enemies hidden in shaded areas of the map.
